EDITORS COMMENTS
This print showcases the intricate network of shoulder muscles in all their glory. With a vibrant red hue, the artwork provides an oblique anterior view of these essential muscles and their connections to various bones within the chest, back, and upper arms. The coracobrachialis muscle steals the spotlight as it stretches from the coracoid process of the scapula (shoulder blade) to the middle region of the humerus (upper arm bone). Alongside it, we witness another key player - the pectoralis minor muscle - which extends from ribs three to five and attaches itself to the coracoid process. Our attention then shifts towards other significant components such as ligaments that surround these joints on display. These white strands serve as vital connectors between different structures within our musculoskeletal system. With its comprehensive depiction of this complex anatomy, this artwork offers valuable insights into how our shoulders function. It highlights not only bones like clavicles and scapulas but also emphasizes connective tissues like tendons and ligaments that enable smooth movement. Whether you're a medical professional seeking anatomical knowledge or simply fascinated by human biology, this print is sure to captivate your imagination. Its detailed portrayal invites us to appreciate both beauty and functionality found within our own bodies.
