EDITORS COMMENTS
This print captures the serene beauty of Lily Basin and West Front at The Hill, Hampstead Heath in London around 1900. Inverforth House, formerly known as The Hill, stands proudly on the outskirts of Hampstead, owned by William Lever, 1st Viscount Leverhulme from 1904 to 1925. Rebuilt in the elegant Queen Anne style in 1895 by Grayson and Ould architects, this large detached house exudes grandeur and sophistication.
