This print captures a moment of incredible bravery and skill displayed by the Italian driver Colombo at the Acrobatics Cup in Paris. As fate would have it, Colombo's aircraft suddenly suffered a malfunction that threatened to send it crashing into the spectators below. However, with remarkable courage and quick thinking, he turned off his engine and executed a daring behind-front maneuver to avoid disaster. This audacious move risked his own life but ensured the safety of those watching from below. Shortly after this heroic act, tragedy struck as the aircraft broke apart and caught fire on the field.
