Zanamivir flu drug, molecular model C016 / 5799

Zanamivir flu drug, molecular model. Zanamivir is an antiviral drug (commonly known by its trade name Relenza). It is administered in spray form for inhalation, and reduces the length of an attack of influenza (flu) if taken early in the course of the disease. It works by blocking the enzyme neuraminidase, which is found on the surface of the influenza virus. The molecular formula is C12.H20.N4.O7. Atoms are represented as spheres and are colour-coded: carbon (white), hydrogen (white), nitrogen (blue) and oxygen (red)
