In May 2012 moved to Williams J. Knight Veterans Home, Lancaster, California. Date: circa 1967

This photograph showcases the North American F-100A-20-NA Super Sabre, specifically the aircraft with the registration number N100X, which was once part of Flight Test Research Inc. based at Long Beach Airport. The Super Sabre, originally known as 53-1688 (MSN 192-183), was registered to Flight Test Research around 1967. After some time, it was later transferred to Flight Systems in the early 1970s. The aircraft was then displayed proudly in front of Flight Systems' office at Mojave, California, from 1975 to 1985. Following years of storage at Mojave in 1997, the F-100A-20-NA was noted at Edwards Air Force Base in California in the fall of 2003. In May 2012, this historic aircraft was moved to the Williams J. Knight Veterans Home in Lancaster, California, where it continues to be preserved for generations to appreciate. The North American F-100 Super Sabre was a versatile and iconic military aircraft, and this particular aircraft holds a unique place in aviation history as part of the Flight Test Research and Flight Systems' legacies.
