Ten Newsome High School pupils will represent Yorkshire
Ten Newsome High School pupils will represent Yorkshire and Humberside at the national junior games of the British Sports Association for the Disabled at Stoke Mandeville from July 1-3. Another three pupils also won medals at the regional games at Cleckheaton. The successful pupils, with Paul Nunn (100m wheelchair dash, at the front) are: Back row (from left) - Shameen Amin (100m walk, 100m run silvers), Michael Hirst (100m run), Jonathan Adam(60m discuss), Steven Travis (60m wheelchair dash), Aisha Chowdry (100m walk, discus javelin golds).
