The GAL.45 Owlet was a British single-engined trainer aircraft made by General Aircraft Limited: Experience has shown that it is rare for a pilot, using a tricycle undercarriage for the first time, to make full use of its advantages. Pilots going over to service tricycle aircraft should be enabled to explore the merits of the new technique of tricycle landing on such an aircraft as the Owlet.
