Stewartby Brick Works, Bedfordshire. The first brickworks hers was founded in 1897, and it went on to have the largest output in the world. It was named Stewartby in 1936 after the directors of the London Brick Company. The works closed in 2006 and parts have since been listed. Photographed here in 2005
