Located in the Villa Romana del Casale in Piazza Armerina, Sicily, this site is now recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Contrary to its name, this mosaic does not depict hunting but rather captures wild beasts for entertainment purposes in the amphitheatres of ancient Rome.
