Napoleon III surrendered the following day in the small neighbouring city of Donchery. Here Prussian Chancellor Otto von Bismarck, Prussian Generalfeldmarschall Helmuth von Moltke, and the French General Emmanuel Felix de Wimpffen discuss terms.
