Oleg Nikolayevich Krokhin (born 1932), Soviet physicist, giving a lecture. Krokhin was one the designers of the quantum generator, and worked with the Nobel laureate Basov on lasers. Krokhin is a senior research member of the Lebedev Physical Institute, and was its director from from 1994 to 2004. He was elected to the Russian Academy of Sciences in 1991.
