Middle left: the Countess of Drogheda in a magnificent coat of peacock blue wild silk with ranch mink collar worn over a chine silk dress printed with huge blue and smoke grey roses - again, by Victor Stiebel. Her hat of ruched blue veiled chenille is by Simone Mirman. Next, the Duchess of Fife wears a silk paper taffeta dress with an abstract pattern of lupins by Ronald Paterson with a high turban of swathed blue tulle by Jenny Fischer.
