Pictured from left to right are Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, John Lennon, and George Harrison. The significance of this performance cannot be overstated as it marked the moment when "Beatlemania" was truly solidified. The term had already made headlines on 2nd November but gained even more traction after their electrifying performance on 4th November. The Daily Mirror splashed the word "Beatlemania" across pages 16 and 17 of their 5th November issue. During the show, The Beatles performed several of their hit songs including "She Loves You" "'Till There Was You" "From Me To You" and "Twist and Shout". It was during their final number, "Twist and Shout" that John Lennon uttered his now famous phrase: "For our last number I'd like to ask your help.
