Headmaster Mr Peter Middleton (pictured), of Meltham CofE Primary School, presented Gold Arrows - the top awards for Cubs - to these youngsters from the area. The boys, all members of Meltham Cubs, completed a variety of activities including sports, outdoor cooking and crafts. They received their awards, which include a miniature shield like the one shown by Mr Middleton, at the Scout headquarters in Huddersfield Road, Meltham. 29th June 1990
