Nina Hossain is pictured in conference with her team of pupils and staff from Newsome High School who turned journalist for the day to publish their own newspaper. They were involved in international news day, organised as part of a Newspapers in Education initiative which the Newspaper Society has helped to develop. The aim of the event was to produce a newspaper using a micro computer. Nina Hossain went on to become a television journalist and news presenter. 28th September 1989
