Powered by three 540hp Bristol Jupiter XIF geared radial engines, the flying boat could accommodate 15 passengers comfortably and included a buffet with necessary equipment for a steward, lavatory, and space for luggage and mail. Accommodation was provided for two pilots side-by-side in an open cockpit in the nose of the hull, a wireless compartment being fitted between the cockpit and the passenger cabin. Date: 1928
