British Army Dirigible No 1, christened Nulli Secundus (Latin: " Second to none" ) was a Semi-rigid airship. First flown on 10th September 1907, it was Britains first powered military aircraft. This card shows the flight of 5th October, the airship passing above St. Pauls Cathedral, London. Taking off at 11:00 pm and crewed by Capper, Cody and Lieutenant Waterlow, she completed a tour over the city taking in Whitehall and Buckingham Palace, and after circling St Pauls Cathedral they attempted to return to Farnborough, but 18 mph (29 km/h) headwinds forced them to land at the Crystal Palace, Sydenham. The flight had lasted for 3 hours and 25 minutes and covered 50 miles (80 km) overland. Date: 1907

As Britain's first powered military aircraft, this semi-rigid airship made its maiden voyage on September 10, 1907, piloted by Capper, Cody, and Lieutenant Waterlow. During this groundbreaking flight, they embarked on a tour of the city, taking in notable landmarks such as Whitehall and Buckingham Palace. After circling St. Paul's Cathedral, they attempted to return to Farnborough but were met with strong headwinds of 18 mph (29 km/h), forcing them to land at the Crystal Palace in Sydenham instead.
