Created by renowned artist Spy (Leslie Ward), this caricature portrait showcases Johnston's influential role as he stands confidently in his stylish overcoat. In 1863, Johnston revolutionized the culinary world with his creation of beef extract, initially known as liquid beef and later named Bovril. Derived from "Bos".
