This engraving, titled "The Four Elements," is a masterpiece by the renowned 16th-century Dutch artist, Jacob Matham. Created around the year 1588, this artwork is a stunning representation of the allegorical figures of the four classical elements: Air, Earth, Fire, and Water. The image showcases the artistic brilliance of the Dutch artistic school during the Sixteenth Century.
