In this evocative photograph, taken by Joe Meredith on September 4, 2013, former Bristol Rovers and Bristol City striker Marcus Stewart returns to Ashton Gate as the Robins take on their local rivals, Bristol Rovers, in the first round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. The air is thick with anticipation as the two teams prepare to face off in the first competitive fixture between them in the old 13-14 season. The Johnstone's Paint Trophy, a much-loved tournament in English football, pits teams from the same region against each other, adding an extra layer of excitement and intensity to the match.
