Stuart and Margaret Whittle of the Cricketers Arms pub, Deanhouse, Netherthong are pictured with Almondbury High School pupils, from left Hayley Rudd, Asim Ilyas, Lindsay Reid, and head of geography Keith Hilton. The couple won a traditional dinner at the school which was bid for a harvest home auction at the pub. The auction raised around 550 fro Netherthong playgroup and newly formed Deanhousemuir football club. Mr Hilton who is captain of the Huddersfield District League team, organised the school dinner prize. 14th October 1991
