Youngsters from Sydenham Middle School, Leamington, who have struck a high note in the musical world. They will be augmenting St Marys Church Choir from Warwick in two performances of Benjamin Brittens " War Requiem." The first is tonight at Coventry Cathedral. Tomorrow night they will perform at Central Hall, Westminster. Also taking part in the performances are the University of Warwick Chorus, the universitys orchestra and chamber ensemble and the London Corale, a London-based choir. The pupils are talking to Mr Alan Baker, the assistant choirmaster at St. Marys and a music teacher at the school.
