This photograph captures the moment when Sir Robert Baden-Powell, KCB, KCVO, LLD, FRGS, the visionary founder of the Scout Association, opened the South London Scout Exhibition on the chilly December day of 13th, 1911. Dressed in his iconic Scout uniform, complete with his distinctive peaked hat, gloves, and jutting Scout stick, Sir Robert exudes a sense of authority and enthusiasm.
