This chromolithograph depicts a Minorca cock and hen, two esteemed Gallus gallus domesticus breeds that graced the pages of Lewis Wright's "The Illustrated Book of Poultry," published by Cassell in London in 1890. The intricately detailed image was produced by Vincent Brooks Day & Son, based on an illustration by J.W. Ludlow.
