Audrey Maureen Leslie Meakin was the daughter of James Meakin and Emma Beatrice Wallace. She married, firstly, Hon. Robert Godfrey de Bohun Devereux, son of Robert Charles Devereux, 17th Viscount Hereford and Ethel Mildred Shaw, on 5 December 1923. She married, secondly, Ernest Edmund Henry Malet Vaughan, 7th Earl of Lisburne, son of George Henry Arthur Vaughan, 6th Earl of Lisburne and Evelyn Probyn, on 14 November 1961. She died on 18 February 1978. From 5 December 1923, her married name became Devereux. The couple had two children: Diana (right) and Robert (left). From 14 November 1961, her married name became Vaughan. After her marriage, Audrey Maureen Leslie Meakin was styled as Countess of Lisburne on 14 November 1961. She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem.
