Amidst the arid expanse of the Middle Eastern desert, a determined Arab patrol marches onward during the tumultuous year of 1917. The First World War had reached the shores of this region, and the harsh terrain of Palestine became a battleground for various forces vying for control. In this evocative image, a group of Arab soldiers, dressed in traditional garb and mounted on camels, lead their animals through the sand, their faces set with determination and focus.
