In this illustration from the 1932 edition of "Prehistoric Life" by Wilhelm Bolsche, we are transported back in time to the Late Triassic period, approximately 235 million years ago, to witness the fossil skeleton of an extinct predatory dinosaur, the Plateosaurus trossingensis.
