Wagon from the Oseberg ship, 1935. The Oseberg ship is a well-preserved Viking ship which was buried c834 AD, although the ship itself is thought to be older. It was discovered in a large burial mound at the Oseberg farm near To nsberg in Norway. The cart was also possibly built before 800, and is decoratively carved.
