Taken at Villa Park on December 14th, 1946, this historic moment showcases the determination and unity of these football legends. Standing tall in the back row from left to right are J. Gerald Henry, Leslie Goldberg (later known as Leslie Gaunt), J. Smith, James "Jim". Twomey, Kenneth Gadsby, and Bobby Browne - a player who proudly represented Northern Ireland with six international caps under his belt. In the front row, we have David Cochrane, Aubrey Powell, George Ainsley (who would later manage Israel and Workington), John Short, Dennis Grainger, and Thomas Holley.
