HMS Indomitable an Invincible-class battlecruiser of the British Royal Navy. She was built before World War I and saw active service during the war. Taking part in the Gallipoli campaign bombarding Turkish fortifications protecting the Dardanelles even before the British declared war on Turkey. She took part in the Battle of the Dogger Bank helping to sink the German armoured cruiser BlYcher in 1915. The following year she took part in the only major naval action involving both the German and British fleets at the Battle of Jutland. She was deemed obsolete after the war and was sold for scrap in 1921, and scrapped by 1923 in Dover. Circa 1914

Intriguingly, even before Britain declared war on Turkey, HMS Indomitable participated in the Gallipoli campaign by bombarding Turkish fortifications protecting the Dardanelles. In 1915, she contributed to sinking Germany's armoured cruiser Blücher during the Battle of Dogger Bank.
