This charming photograph captures a group of holidaymakers enjoying a sunny day at Coram Court in Lyme Regis, Dorset, on 8th June 1931. The holiday fellowship, made up of men and women, are all dressed in their Sunday best, reflecting the formalities of the era. The children in the group are dressed in their finest as well, adding to the sense of excitement and joy. The ivy-covered building in the background, with its large leaded windows, adds to the picturesque setting. Coram Court, a beautiful manor house, was a popular destination for tourists in the 1930s, offering a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
