The intense incident took place in Mayfair, leaving an indelible mark on history. Today, as they fly back home from Heathrow Airport, these brave individuals are surrounded by an impenetrable shield of security. The photograph captures the momentous occasion when Coach Driver Mr. Stagg takes charge once again, driving the crew to safety just as he did on that fateful Sunday, 20th August when shots rang out. This image serves as a testament to his unwavering commitment and courage. Notably, heightened security measures have been implemented at Heathrow Airport today with Army Patrols standing guard vigilantly. Their presence adds an extra layer of protection against any potential threats that may arise during this crucial journey. Transported back to August 1978 through this striking snapshot, one cannot help but be reminded of the turbulent times marked by military forces armed with tanks and weapons.
