Sundial Dated 1663 in Grounds of Polesdon Lacey, Surrey, 20th century. An Edwardian sundial inscribed Vivat Carolus Secundus, ( God is with us ) in estate located on the North Downs in Surrey, England. The Regency house was extensively remodelled in 1906 by Margaret Greville, a well-known Edwardian hostess. The future George VI and Queen Elizabeth spent part of their honeymoon here in 1923
