Stevenson was named honorary secretary of the club in 1935; Ewer won 2 England caps, played 14 amateur internationals and was a football author; Fabian was also a football author; Doggart won 1 England cap, played cricket for Durham and Middlesex and later became FA Chairman from 1961 to 1963; Benest later served Royal Court in Jersey as Viscount of Jersey between 1946 and 1974).

The image captures the Corinthian team group moments before kick-off on February 14th, 1931. Standing tall at the back row from left to right are J. R. B. Moulsdale, F. De. L. Evans, H. M. Garland-Wells, J. G. Stevenson, and Frederick Harold Ewer. In the front row proudly pose Aubrey Howard Fabian, R. Brogden, G. D. Kemp-Welch, Alexander Graham Doggart (who would later become FA Chairman), Herbert Vyvian Benest (later serving as Viscount of Jersey), and A. H. Chaddar.
