The image is taken from Sir William Jardine's Naturalist's Library: Ornithology, published in Edinburgh by William Lizars in 1837. The illustration was created by the renowned naturalist and artist, William John Swainson. The White-crested Helmetshrike is a medium-sized bird native to Western Africa.
