Queen Mary Ocean Liner, about to embark on her first journey down the river Clyde to Greenock and onto open sea, described as " the most dangerous voyage" the Queen Mary was likely ever to have to make. Watched by some of the thousands that had worked upon her, where she had been a familiar landmark. Passing on the way lyng off Greenock was the luxurious ocean liner L Atlantique a French vessel, which was burned out in 1933 and been broken up. Date: March 1936
