In the Kastamonu Province of the Black Sea region. Generally thought to have been founded by Gas Gas in 1200 BC. Originally called Ionopolis after its Ionian location. The name name metamorphosed to Inepolis and then Inebolu. Famous for Ataturk making a speech there about men wearing the Fez (hat). Also famous for timber and fruit, beekeeping and fishing.
