Lobster. Coloured X-ray of a common lobster (Homarus gammarus). This is a marine scavenger that inhabits the cool waters of the north-eastern Atlantic Ocean. It is valued for its flesh. Like all crustaceans, it has a hard exoskeleton. Its muscles (some seen in the legs) are attached to the inner walls of this exoskeleton.
