Patrick Cotter O'Brien, also known as the "Bristol Giant," was an Irishman born around 1760, who gained notoriety for his extraordinary height. Measuring an impressive 8 feet 7 inches tall, O'Brien became a popular attraction in Europe during the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
