After his death in 2003, a life size bronze sculpture was made by Suzie Marsh and placed on Pennyland Rocks. In May 2008 the statue was unveiled by Sir Robin Knox-Johnston CBE, and was honored by a flypast by 849 Naval Air Squadron.
