EDITORS COMMENTS
This print showcases the incredible size and diversity of prehistoric creatures. On the left, we have a modern adult White Rhinoceros, standing at 1.8 meters tall and weighing around 3200 kilograms. On the right, we are transported back in time to 77 million years ago during the Cretaceous period, where an adult Einiosaurus takes center stage. Towering at approximately 2 meters tall and weighing a staggering 3600 kilograms, this horned cerapod (ceratopsian) is truly awe-inspiring. The artwork beautifully captures the contrast between these two magnificent beings from different eras. The Einiosaurus boasts an impressive neck frill and beaked face while sharing some similarities with its modern counterpart – the rhino's powerful build and quadrupedal stance. As we delve into Earth's history through this image, it sparks our curiosity about evolution and how life has changed over millions of years. It serves as a reminder of the vast array of species that once roamed our planet. This print not only appeals to nature enthusiasts but also captivates those interested in zoology, paleontology, biology, and natural history. It invites us to explore our world's rich past while appreciating its present wonders.
