She was commissioned into the German Imperial Navy on 19th June 1915 as SM UC-5. She served in World War I under the command of Herbert Pustkuchen (June 1915 - December 1915) and Ulrich Mohrbutter (December 1915 - April 1916). Date: circa 1917
