In this evocative print from the Medieval Museum in Stockholm, Sweden, we see a soldier on horseback and one on foot, both determinedly making their way towards the battlefield. The horseman, clad in full armor, sits tall in his saddle, his steed adorned with a banner bearing the Swedish cross.
