Located in the heart of the industrial revolution, this engineering powerhouse was renowned for its production of high-quality machinery, particularly its Napier Opposed Piston Engines. On the left side of the image, we see the General Turning Line, where skilled workers meticulously shape and form various components using lathes and other turning machines.
