A selection of ladies fashions from the Paris designers, April 1872. From left to right: Toilette de Diner, trimmed with a deep flounce and covered with a white lace tunic; the dress decorated with lace trim and blue velvet bows. Toilette de Visite, a pearl grey dress with a darker cashmere tunic trimmed with embroidered designs. A long fringe combining both shades of grey forms a train at the back. The front is fastened with blue velvet bows and falls each side at points which are trimmed with blue taffeta.
