Soldiers of the Wurttemberg Division of the Prussian 3rd Army fighting at the village of Champigny-sur-Marne near Paris, during the Franco-Prussian War. Better known as the Battle of Villiers, Champigny was one of the unsuccessful attempts by the French to break out through the Prussian lines between 30 November and 3 December 1870.
