Step into the magical world of Robin Hood, as portrayed in this promotional postcard from the 1907 production by Henry Hamilton and William Devereux. First performed at the Lyric Theatre on 17th October 1906, this theatrical masterpiece was soon picked up by Lewis Wallers Co. for a tour, gracing the stage of the Grand Theatre in Leeds on 28th October 1907. Robin Hood, the legendary medieval knight, is depicted here in all his regal glory. With a regal air and a determined gaze, he stands proudly before an archery target, bow in hand and arrow at the ready.
