The image is taken from Professor Filippo Arenas' seminal work, "La natura e cultura dei fiori fisicamente esposta" (The Nature and Culture of Flowers Physically Displayed), published in Palermo, Italy, in 1771. The Stork's Bill is a herbaceous perennial plant native to Europe, North Africa, and western Asia.
