The Kinkajou, also known as the honey bear, is a nocturnal mammal native to Central and South America. It is characterized by its long, bushy tail, prehensile thumbs, and a face resembling that of a raccoon. Kinkajous are omnivorous, feeding on fruit, leaves, flowers, and insects. They are also known for their ability to produce a loud, piercing scream, which they use as a warning call. The South American Coati, or the Brazilian Tapirhana, is a raccoon-like mammal that is native to Central and South America.
