The Russian battleship HIRM Tsarevich (or Tsesarevich), named after the heir to the Russian throne. Built in France, launched 1900, commissioned 1901, seen here at Toulon. She was renamed Grazhdanin (meaning Citizen) in 1917, and decommissioned in 1918. She served in the Pacific during the Russo-Japanese War, then in the Baltic during the First World War. Date: 1903

The Tsarevich, also known as Tsesarevich, was built in France and launched in 1900, with her commissioning taking place the following year. The Tsarevich was a formidable vessel, with a displacement of over 12,000 tons and armed with a main battery of twelve 12-inch guns.
